Draftsman – Commercial Office Space

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects through feasibility studies, space planning, and technical drafting. If you have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and expertise in drafting, we want you to be part of our journey!

Key Responsibilities:

Feasibility Studies:

  • Conduct site assessments and analyze existing conditions to determine the feasibility of proposed office space designs.
  • Evaluate space requirements, zoning regulations, and building codes to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.

Space Planning & Layout Design:

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for commercial office spaces, including floor plans, furniture layouts, and equipment placement.
  • Optimize space utilization to create functional, ergonomic, and visually appealing office environments.
  • Incorporate client-specific needs, such as collaborative workspaces, private offices, meeting rooms, and breakout areas.

Technical Drafting:

  • Produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Prepare construction documents, including elevations, sections, and detailed drawings for permitting and construction.
  • Update and revise drawings based on client feedback and project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in drafting, with a focus on commercial office spaces or similar projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of zoning regulations, building codes, and space planning principles.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous work in commercial office space design is required.
